Well since I'm wearing the rubber bands again my swelling seems to have gone up a little Boo! they don't hurt as much as they did yesterday though; my muscles are resisting less and less yay! Anyway, because of the swelling I couldn't get a good profile shot sooo just a smiley front shot for today.
Isn't that weird that rubber bands = more swelling? That happened with me, as well, though I never could decide why...
ReplyDeleteLooking good! This whole surgery is rough, you're doing great :)
Thanks Stephanie. Ugh I'm so sick of talking and everyone asking me "what what???" Rubber bands are the worse. Very frustrating
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah!

I just saw Inception and that was amazing! Best movie I have seen in a while. I still hang on to my beloved classics though....When Harry Met Sally. As good as it Gets. What are your favorite movies?

I am pretty much a dork...and don't get to the movie very often, BUT the recent show I watch lately that made me laugh soooo hard was "Year One." But, I like that kind of really stupid humor.

About the talking thing - I SWEAR that people just LOOK at the rubber bands and decide they can't understand you. Yes, some sounds are harder and yes, speech is a bit muddled but really!? I could talk fine 8 weeks after surgery and people were always saying "Huh? What? HUH?" So frustrating!
ReplyDeleteHopefully the muscles are getting trained up so you can go to a lighter configuration. They do stink, but I tried to tell myself rubber bands are better than jaw surgery all over again (not that it always works...)
Keep that chin up!
